On October 17, the SDUHSD board unanimously authorized an audit of all foundations within the district. We are continuing to work to ensure the audit is conducted thoroughly and fairly.

Our Investigation of the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation Revealed:

• A cumulative $3.5M uncategorized expense.

• Failure to report Executive Director salaries, in violation of federal tax law.

• 60%+ fees imposed on school organizations.

• The quiet removal of its Executive Director of 12 years.
